FAQ
What's the difference between Music Studio and Film/TV/Agency?
Music Studio = you sell beats with multiple in-house producers under one brand (revenue splits apply). Film/TV/Agency = you license music for visual media (sync licensing). You can have both if you operate both sides.
Can a solo producer work with multiple studios at once?
Yes. Solo artists can be affiliated with unlimited music studios. For each beat upload, they pick which studio (or none) to attribute the track to. Revenue splits are configured per-affiliation.
How do producer revenue splits work?
Each producer has a configurable split % with the studio (default 70% to producer, 30% to studio). Splits can be different per-producer, agreed upon when the producer is added or affiliated.
Do Music Studios get their own public page?
Yes. Every Music Studio gets /studios/[your-slug] with your logo, bio, social links, producer roster, and combined catalog. Beats attributed to the studio show a gold 'Produced at [Studio]' badge.
What's sync licensing (Film/TV/Agency side)?
Sync licensing pairs music with visual media — film, TV, ads, games. We offer preset tiers (Indie $500, TV $5K, Commercial $25K) or custom quotes for unusual projects. Every sync license comes with pre-cleared master + sync rights.
Can team members have different permissions?
Yes. Org roles: Admin (billing + invites + licensing), Producer (for music studios — uploads under the studio), Member (buyer for licensing studios), Viewer (browse only).
What if a music studio wants to buy too?
Any organization can also license beats like a regular customer. Music Studios that want priority sync access can upgrade to a Film/TV/Agency account in parallel.
Do you work with ad agencies?
Yes. Licensing Studio Pro and Enterprise tiers are designed for agencies with multiple account directors, producers, and music supervisors sharing one subscription.
