Custom Licensing
Need custom terms? Click "Custom License" on any beat detail page to propose your own terms. Artists can accept, counter, or decline your proposal.
Subscription Downloads
Subscribers get monthly downloads included with their plan:
- Basic ($9.99/mo) — 3 Basic license downloads, 10% discount
- Pro ($29.99/mo) — 10 Premium license downloads, 20% discount
- Corporate/VIP ($99.99/mo) — Unlimited downloads (any license), 25% discount
License Verification
Every license includes a unique ID and QR code. Anyone can verify a license at /verify/LICENSE-ID.
PRO Registration (Performing Rights Organizations)
When a beat is publicly performed (radio, streaming, TV, live), a PRO collects royalties on your behalf. If you're a producer, register with one:
- ASCAP — Free to join, performance royalties
- BMI — Free to join, performance royalties
- SESAC — Invite-only, higher rate
For mechanical royalties (downloads, physical sales), register separately with the MLC.
ISRC Codes
Every beat uploaded through ReferenceRoom receives an auto-generated ISRC code — the international standard recording code used for tracking plays and royalties across distributors. You'll see your ISRC on each beat's detail page and license PDFs.
